It's been about a month since we officially entered 2017, but I wanted to save this post for around my birthday. I wanted to take time to share important things I've learned in 2016 and what I plan to do in 2017.

So here are a few things I learned in 2016:

1- Gratitude is ALWAYS in season - always be grateful for everything. 

2- Getting back into fitness was one of the greatest gifts I've given myself.

3- Getting out of my comfort zone in 2016 was easily the best decision.

4- Putting energy and investing in myself should always be a priority.

5- Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional.

6- Being positive is a game-changer.

7- Good or bad, karma always comes back around.

Here are a few things I want to focus on in 2017 (and beyond):

1- Take bigger risks. 

2- Continue to be grateful. 

3- Better self-care, whether that is mental, physical or emotional.

4- Eat healthier! 

5- Surround myself with people that inspire me to get better in everything I do 

6- Trust the process and timing of everything

7- Continue to blog and share ideas, tips, workouts, etc
